You guys, I am officially Trader Joe’s obsessed… I’m talking I visit there at least twice a week, sometimes more if I’m extra bored. Because I go there SO often, I feel quite confident in being able to recommend some amazingly tasty products that are definitely worth purchasing on your next Trader Joe’s visit. I recently branched out to try some new things that I hadn’t previously tried. In the process, I wound up adding a plethora of new favorite items to my ever-growing list. Here are some of my most recent, delicious discoveries.
First up, is this Broccoli & Kale Pizza Crust. I’ve tried there Cauliflower Pizza Crust before and absolutely loved it. The Broccoli and Kale is no exception! I might go as far as to say that I liked it even MORE than I liked the cauliflower crust. It’s perfect to pick up for a ‘build-your-own-pizza’ date night competition with your significant other. Take a trip to Trader Joe’s together and each of you can choose your own separate pizza toppings and ingredients while you’re there, then see who can make a yummier pizza!
One of my top 5 favorite snack options from Trader Joe’s are these Broccoli Florets. I’m a BIG chip-eater, so I try to find healthier alternatives to chips whenever I can. These are perfect for that. They’re crispy and crunchy, full of flavor, and the icing on the cake?? They aren’t bad for you! They totally satisfy all of my chip cravings.
I literally just discovered these Mochi Rice Nuggets this past week, and OMG, are they delicious! I was totally surprised at the level of tastiness packed into this snack. I definitely was not expecting much from them, but they are anything but plain! I practically devoured the whole bag in one sitting, that’s how yummy they are!
Okay, so this Green Goddess Salad Dressing isn’t exactly a “march find” of mine. I’ve been obsessed with this dressing for a while now, but since I’ve never done a Trader Joe’s round-up on the blog yet, I couldn’t NOT include it in my first ever list of recommendations. This next statement of mine is not an exaggeration. It is hands-down the best store-bought salad dressing I have ever purchased in my life. And not only that, it’s only 20 calories for every 2 tablespoons used. It can’t get any better, in my opinion.
Once again, this was a snack that I was very pleasantly surprised by. I originally picked these up for my husband, but I ended up falling in love with them as well. They taste more like peanut butter than they do peanuts, and they look and have the consistency of Cheetos Puffs. Honestly, they’re one of the more unique snack options I’ve ever come across. And if that isn’t convincing enough for you, a single serving contains 40 pieces and has no added sugar. So, you’re welcome.
Cold Brew Latte Dessert Bars, need I say more? These make for the perfect pick-me-up and sweet craving fix all rolled up into one delicious frozen treat. Here’s a little tip, pick up more than one box. You’ll be surprised at how fast you devour these.
These Arugula and Parmigiano Reggiano Ravioli are to die for. The majority of the food items I’ve included in this first round-up are mostly snack foods, but this one is perfect for a proper meal. They are great when you want a quick, yet satisfying, supper during the week. Toss them with Trader’s Joe’s EVOO or your favorite Trader Joe’s sauce. I prefer to toss mine in marinara sauce.
Could this canned Coconut Water with Pineapple Juice get any cuter? I think not. I usually only like to drink coconut water when it has a little added flavoring to it, so this option, with it’s added pineapple juice, tastes just right.
Honestly, I don’t think these Peanut Butter Cartwheel Cookies need much of an explanation. If you like peanut butter, you will absolutely LOVE these deliciously creamy and chewy concoctions. You can thank me later.
These Giant Peruvian Inca Corn bags make for the perfect road-trip snack. My husband and I just took a road trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and we consumed the entire bag in less than 30 minutes. They’ve got just the right amount of crunch and salt to satisfy my ‘salty tooth’ – just made that phrase up, because I definitely don’t have a ‘sweet tooth’.
If you don’t love banana flavored things, then these might not be your ‘cup of tea’. I, however, am very much a lover of anything banana flavored, so these Dried Banana Chips are a tasty (and healthy) little treat for me to snack on throughout the day and between meals.
I will eat just about anything that is ranch-seasoned or ranch-flavored, so when I saw these Ranch Seasoned Crispy Chickpeas I HAD to get them. They are THE BOMB, you guys. They’re definitely a must-buy snack item!
Growing up my dad used to always make us homemade popcorn, so this Organic Popcorn with Organic EVOO takes me straight back to those days. It tastes almost exactly like the homemade, uber-buttery popcorn that my dad used to make, except it’s 20,000X less likely to clog your arteries. It’s the perfect snack for a movie night at home.
Another favorite road trip snack of mine are these Thai Lime & Chili Cashews. Trader Joe’s also has Thai Lime & Chili Almonds. I haven’t yet decided which of the two I like best, but since these cashews were a March find of mine, they are the ones that I decided to include in this round-up. Both are definitely worth a try, though!
Along with the Green Goddess Salad Dressing, this Homestyle Salsa Especial has been a household favorite of ours for years now, but it just HAD to be included in this round-up post. It would totally be one of the first things I’d recommend purchasing if you’re going to pay a visit to Trader Joe’s in the near future. It’s quite possibly the best salsa I’ve ever tasted. It comes in both mild and medium, so the level of heat is up to you!
Lastly, I had to include my favorite Trader Joe’s tortilla chips – these Brussels Sprouts, Garlic, Onion & Parsley Seasoned Tortilla Chips take that title. They are absolutely amazing, you guys! They’re so flavorful and they make the perfect addition to the salsa I just mentioned. Once you try these, you’ll probably never go back to plain old boring white corn tortilla chips again.
These all sound delicious! I wished I had known about the salsa when I went yesterday! Definitely getting it next time I go…and the popcorn too!!
