There’s an overwhelming number of beauty products now available on the market. So much so, that it’s quite time-consuming trying to wade through all of the possible options to find those products that actually work and do what they say they do.
In the post below I’ve rounded up my top 15 tried and true beauty products that you absolutely HAVE to have in your possession. Most of which have insanely positive (5-star) customer reviews and are so good that they’ve attracted an almost cult-like following.

Clarisonic Mia Facial Cleansing Brush
Obviously, cleansing is a MUST in any skincare routine and the Clarisonic electric facial brush is my absolute favorite way to cleanse my face. Just apply your favorite facial wash (see below for my favorite) to the brush head, turn it on, and cleanse/exfoliate away! I love to use this cleansing brush in the shower, as well! Tula Probiotic Purifying Face Cleanser
This product is a cult-favorite from the Tula skincare line. But, why do I love it so much? It’s the gentlest gel cleanser I’ve ever used and it’s signature probiotic formula leaves my face glowing after every wash. My skin tends to be terribly dry most of the time, so finding a face cleanser that will clean my skin without over-drying it is a necessity for me.
Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm
Okay, I’m fairly new to the ‘cleansing balm’ train, but, holy cow, has it been a game-changer for me! As I said, usually, my skin is in desperate need of extra-moisture, especially in the dry Colorado winter months. When I learned that there was a way to wash my face using a hydrating BALM, I was ecstatic. Elemis’s pro-collagen cleansing balm is hands down my favorite. It’s a little pricy, but WELL WORTH IT. Keep an eye on QVC deals, because this product often goes on sale. Also, it smells AMAZING.
GloPRO Microneedling Regeneration Tool
I must confess, it took me a while to actually start using and testing this facial tool out on a regular basis and to begin noticing any results. Now that I am finally using it consistently, though, I am 110% a GloPRO advocate. Not only does it stimulate collagen and cell turnover, but it allows your expensive skincare serums and moisturizers to break through the surface of your skin and actually yield you noticeable results. I prefer to use this tool every other night, after cleansing my face (but before applying my skincare creams/lotions/etc.). I simply glide it over my skin (with minimal pressure) for about two minutes and ta-da! That’s all it takes to achieve healthier-looking skin with this bad boy.
BeautyBio’s Rose Quartz Facial Roller
Why is everyone so obsessed with facial rollers right now? Well, perhaps it’s because they boost circulation and eliminate facial puffiness or perhaps it’s because they are oh-so-pretty and Instagrammable. But whatever the case, I am a huge fan of them. My favorite is this rose quartz roller from BeautyBio, but the jade facial rollers are also uber-popular right now. HOT TIP: Keep yours in the refrigerator to use in the morning when you first wake up. It feels heavenly.
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes
I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t always feel like washing my face before bed. (I know, I know. I’m the worst.) However, I do my best to at least remove my makeup with my favorite Neutrogena makeup remover wipes. They’ve come in handy more times than I can count and they work extremely well to remove all the things, including waterproof mascara. Isle of Paradise Self-Tanning Drops
This is definitely a cult-favorite beauty product. Trust me when I say, if you’re looking for a beautiful healthy-looking glow year-round, you NEED these tanning drops in your life. They can be used either on your face or your body. Simply, squeeze your favorite face cream (or body lotion) into your hands, then add a few drops of this product into the cream, mix it together and apply! You’ll have yourself an almost instant sun-kissed tan. The more drops you use, the deeper the tan. I prefer the “Light” tanning drops, but I know lots of people rave about the “Medium” color as well.
Obagi Clear Fx Skin Brightening Cream 3
I get terrible Melasma and dark spots on my face and honestly have tried EVERYTHING. I’ve tried product after product and even had an IPL laser treatment to have them removed, only to have them come back worse than ever. During my most recent facial treatment, though, my esthetician recommended this Obagi brightening cream to help with my Melasma and dark spot issues. And omg, you guys, it has totally done the trick! I still have some spots here and there but they are lightening by the day and I’ve only gone through a third of the bottle. I know it’s a bit on the pricier side, but if you want something that’s really going to work, this product is a winner!!
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel
I absolutely LOVE a good drugstore beauty product and this Neutrogena moisturizer is one of the very best everyday face moisturizers I’ve ever used! It’s incredibly lightweight, yet somehow still manages to be insanely hydrating at the same time. It’s like giving your skin a long drink of water and the hyaluronic acid in the formula can absorb up to 1000 times its weight in water. Yes, please.
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
The cult-following behind this face mask is NO JOKE. Honestly, it’s enough to rival that of any other skin-care product on the market. If you haven’t tried it for yourself yet, I am here to tell you that the hype behind this product is legit. Not only is it an amazing face mask to use to relieve stressed-out skin, but I also LOVE using it as a daily moisturizing cream as well. The level of deep hydration it provides my skin is unmatched. And it doesn’t hurt that it smells like peppermint. Yum.
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
WOW. That’s all that needs to be said about this miracle-working lip mask. Even worse than my face, my lips get insanely cracked and dry (I know, it’s gross) almost year-round. That was until I discovered this product. Never have I ever come across a lip balm or gloss that works better at keeping my lips hydrated and plump than Laneige’s lip mask does. I keep it on my nightstand and apply it every night before bed, but it also works great as an everyday lip balm, too.
RapidLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum
Eyelash-growing/enhancing serums are REALLY having a moment right now, and I totally understand why. I used both Latisse and LashBoost for awhile and both worked amazingly well, but my most recent obsession is this RapidLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum. Why? Because it works really well and actually does what it says it’ll do, and because it’s one of the most affordable eyelash growth products currently on the market.
Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream
First things first, this lotion smells better than any lotion I’ve ever used. I use it all over and it will leave your skin feeling silky smooth and smelling AMAZING. So, slather it on for baby soft skin, or for the scent, but either way, I promise you’re gonna love it as much as I do!
Viviscal Hair Growth Dietary Supplements
My old hairdresser recommended these hair supplements to me awhile ago to help with my hair growth after I’d had my extensions taken out. I was definitely skeptical but thought I’d give them a try, and I’m here to tell you, they. truly. work! You won’t see results overnight, but if you take these supplements consistently (day and night) you will begin to notice growth in 2 – 3 months.
